Sydney S. Forbes is a native of Jackson, Ms. and currently attends Jackson State University where she is perusing a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis of multimedia journalism. Forbes is a third generation Jacksonian as she followed the footsteps of both her mother and father along with both her grandparents to Thee Jackson State university; in other words, you can conclude that her blood is “true blue”.

Forbes was a 2012 graduated of Harrison central high school where she was the salutatorian of her class while furthering her academic success to Jackson state university. Forbes has became a member of numerous organizations on the campus that include being an active member in the following groups: Maddrama Performance troop, NAACP, Blue Ambassadors, and a national member the National Association of Black Journalist.

Forbes gives accreditation to her success from her strong faith in her religion along with her loving and supporting family.

Her philosophy of life derives from Newton’s first law of motion which states “for every action there is an opposite but equal reaction”. Forbes applies this philosophy to everyday to help her share goodness and positivity to everyone that comes along her path.

Upon graduation Forbes plans to get a masters’ degree in business administration to help place footstones of accomplishing her life long dream of owning her own television network.
